About

I'm Conor Gotzens.

Web designer and growth marketer. I spend my days inside Search Console, Google Ads, and analytics dashboards for agency clients — and that's exactly why the websites I build look the way they do: designed backwards from how they'll be found, measured, and judged.

Most websites are built by people who never see what happens after launch — the designer ships, the developer hands off, and nobody is around when the site quietly fails to rank, track, or convert. My career runs the other direction: I started in the reporting and grew backwards into the building.

That means the unglamorous things are non-negotiable in my builds: clean information architecture, real technical SEO, conversion tracking that attributes leads to sources, and a CMS the owner can actually use. The pretty parts matter too — I just refuse to ship only the pretty parts.

The proof is in the work: MeowTested, an independent cat-product testing site I founded and run as my own laboratory, and client builds like Lomax Home Team. Small portfolio, deep involvement, numbers I can stand behind.
